Maximize Efficiency and Minimize Problems in Work Teams

Sandra Brown, MSCSW, The Employer's Resource

Why do teams get stuck and how do we help them to move forward? Often, simply elevating self-awareness, and awareness of other team members, can help to open lines of communication, increase understanding of working style differences, and minimize conflicts.

This program will take HR professionals through a process that can be used with their teams to help elevate such awareness within their own organizations.

    Learning Objectives:

Leaders will identify their own approach to:

    • Communicating
    • Decision-Making
    • Organizing Work

Leaders will identify strategies for flexing their own style to maximize effectiveness in:

    • Communication
    • Conflict Resolution
    • Decision-Making
    • Leadership

Leaders - Are They Born or Made?

    Dan Stalp, Sandler Training

Just like anything in life, we all have certain talents which serve us well. Yet, even the most talented can improve and business leaders are no different.

While many of us tend to emulate the leaders we like, there are often underlining behaviors we don’t see that make them more effective.

    Learning Objectives:

    • · What are the top 11 behaviors in Executive Leadership;
    • · How too much of a “good behavior” can actually be ineffective; and
    • · Why some behaviors are effective in leadership, but not necessarily in our personal relationships
