    Jayhawk SHRM Member Scholarship

    The ability for all Human Resource professionals to participate in a local professional organization is important to the Jayhawk SHRM chapter. It is our pleasure to be able to offer a membership scholarship program available to those who are experiencing periods of unemployment, or for those HR professionals whose employers are not able and/or willing to pay for a local professional membership. To apply, complete and submit the application below.

    Monthly Meetings

    Monthly Chapter meetings are held at Maceli's Banquet Hall: 1031 New Hampshire St, Lawrence, KS 66044.

    At our meetings, attendees are able to network with other professional in the community, enjoy a fabulous Maceli's lunch, hear from meeting sponsors, diversity spotlights, learn about volunteer opportunities, find out about chapter news, and experience a top-knotch presentation that qualifies for HRCI and SHRM re-certification credits. You can even take part in drawings and win prizes. Fees to attend these meetings are as follows:

    • Individual Meeting

    • Chapter Member In-Person: $20
    • Guest (Non-Member): $25 (2025 meetings)
    • Student (with ID)/Retiree: $10
    • Zoom Attendee: $10

    • Meetings Prepay for the Year (9 meetings, doesn't include Business Leadership Conference or December meeting)​

    • Chapter Member In-Person: $180
    • Guest (Non-Member): $225 (2025 meetings)
    • Student (with ID)/Retiree: $90
    • Zoom Attendee: $90
