    Chapter Meeting August 2022

    Rachel Keck

"Create a Wellbeing Blueprint: Tools for De-stressing You and Your People"

What if you could impact the lives of your people and, in doing so, positively impact the lives of every single person they touch? Workplace stress is holding us back from our greatest good.

“Between December 2020 and July 2021, employees reported a 21% increase in burnout and 17% increase in physical symptoms of stress like muscle tension and fatigue, as well as added work-life balance challenges and overall job stress.” - CNBC

The consequences of stress-related illnesses cost businesses an estimated $200 to $300 billion a year in lost productivity.” - Zippia

Handling stress starts with you. It begins with your awareness and the actions you take based on that awareness. Your actions influence the people around you. Develop greater awareness when it comes to your stress signals and you’ll change how you impact those around you.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Develop awareness of your internal states and how they affect you throughout the day

    • Add a process to your toolbox that will stop looping conversations dead in its tracks and finally move the conversation forward

    • Understand the importance of “checking out” and clarify a strategy to do just that

Rachel Keck is a workplace culture coach and consultant. With training in the fields of psychology, sociology, and spiritual direction, she brings a wealth of experience and curiosity to both individuals and how those individuals create a collective. She founded Mosaic-Collaborative as a resource to leaders who are responsible for workplace culture as well as a service to those that nurture the clients and customers of service-based businesses. Rachel believes authentic customer service starts with people practicing authenticity and that authentic connection can change the world in a positive way because she sees it happen every day.
