Joseph Comfort, Program Manager for the Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) Program with the Kansas Department of Commerce.
Joseph Comfort, Program Manager for the Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) Program with the Kansas Department of Commerce, will discuss twenty benefits to hiring veterans to work in your company to include competencies in leadership, problem solving, communication and ethics. He will also discuss special considerations when hiring and retaining veterans along with a list of state and federal veteran initiatives and programs. Mr. Comfort will conclude with a discussion on the Kansas Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) Program.
