Workers Compensation 101

Ryan Boswell of the Kansas Department of Labor will speak on Workers Compensation in Kansas.  He will cover the definition of Workers Compensation, a brief history and the three methods of coverage.  He will discuss what an Injury is under the law as well as what to do before and after an incident occurs. Disability and survivor benefits will also be covered.

Mr. Kessler will discuss Unemployment in Kansas and how it compares with Douglas County. The discussion will also include an analysis of Women in the Workforce in Kansas.
