Effectively plans, designs, develops and evaluates human resources related initiatives supporting Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas’ strategic goals by taking a leadership role in developing a culture that enables employees to perform and flourish in accordance with the company’s objectives.
Directs the development and implementation of Human Resources’ policies and programs for the entire company and its subsidiaries by ensuring consistent and equitable administration of these policies.
Plans, organizes and directs the activities and staff of the Human Resources Department, including talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) , Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) corporate wellness initiatives and risk management.
Work involves the application of professional knowledge and personal judgment for a variety of personnel and managerial dilemmas and issues.
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls information reporting, tactical and strategic planning, and forecasting on corporate and subsidiary operational and functional areas.
