Presented by: Michael Machell, Dwayne Peaslee Technical Training Center
Bio: Michael Machell retired from a 33-year career in human resources management in 2020. During that time, Michael held human resources positions with Amoco Corporation (now British Petroleum), Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), UCB, Sprint Corporation, and UnitedHealth Group. During that time Michael provided strategic human resources support to organizations as large as 2,500 employees. Since retirement, Michael has consulted with various organizations related to human resources issues. He is currently a part-time instructor in leadership and management for the Dwayne Peaslee Technical Training Center. Michael holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and earned an MBA at the University of Michigan and JD from Georgia State University. Michael and his wife Denise reside in Lawrence, Kansas.
